Training & Background
I am a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist registered with the British Psychoanalytical Council and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
I also have an Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling from Westminster Pastoral Foundation and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Studies from University of Roehampton
My training is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
As well as working in private practice I have worked as a counsellor for a national charity supporting families affected by long term illness taking referals from the NHS. I have a background providing counselling for employee assistance programmes including Compscyhe, I have been an Associate Counsellor with the London Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and an honorary counsellor with Westminster Pastoral Foundation.
I am professional member of the Foundation for Psychotherpapy and Counselling and am registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists and the British Psychoanalytic Council. I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Of central importance to my work is respect for confidentiality and work to ethical standards.
